Job Description:
We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Tow Truck Operator Contractors. In this exciting role, you'll provide towing operator services, responding to various roadside service calls, including lockouts, tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, and towing/vehicle transports. Say goodbye to handling phone calls and promoting yourself – our dedicated teams handle all dispatching and marketing efforts, allowing you to focus solely on operating your tow truck!
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to roadside service calls, ensuring timely assistance to customers.
Own or have explicit permission to use a tow truck for this contract; ensure compliance with TDLR regulations and proper insurance coverage.
Perform duties under various weather conditions and at any time of day or night, based on customer needs.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor at all times.
Engage in manual labor, including lifting heavy tow truck equipment such as chains, dollies, jacks, etc.
Await dispatch notifications from our dedicated team when there's a surge in call volume.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in towing operations.
Must have a fully equipped tow truck for every service type offered.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
You are required to provide your own truck and equipment for this position. You must either own a tow truck or have explicit permission from the owner of the truck to use it for towing purposes.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to pass background check. Background check results may be eligible for review on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates with prior military service are strongly preferred but not required.
Terms of Engagement:
This is an independent contractor role with flexible scheduling. Compensation will be provided as a 50% commission for completed service and towing calls. The pay period commences on Friday and concludes on Thursday, with compensation processed weekly. Contractors are responsible for their tax obligations related to compensation. Please note that we cannot guarantee a set number of hours, and contract work is subject to available assignments. Our dedicated dispatching, marketing, and administrative teams handle all phone calls, promotional efforts, and administrative tasks, allowing you to focus solely on operating your tow truck.
**Please Note** While in this role, you will be representing Galindo's Towing & Transport and providing services under our name. As part of this contract, you will be required to adhere to a non-solicitation agreement regarding our clients.
